Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry has been a top-selling midsize sedan in the U.S. since 1982, and for the 2026 model year it's sold exclusively as a hybrid — Toyota dropped gas-only Camry trims starting with the prior model year. The current lineup offers five trims (LE, SE, Nightshade, XLE, and XSE), all built around a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid system producing 225 horsepower with front-wheel drive or 232 horsepower with the available Electronic On-Demand all-wheel drive. Fuel economy leads the segment, with the base LE FWD rated near 51 mpg combined. Every trim comes with Toyota Safety Sense standard, and buyers choosing between trims are mainly weighing efficiency (LE), sportier styling and suspension tuning (SE, Nightshade, XSE), or added comfort and tech (XLE).
